The Cumberland river was a major gateway for the might riverboats that carried cotton, tobacco and passengers.
Nashville was a main port of call and Mr Daniel's knew this so he kept those boats supplied with his Tennessee whiskey. This bottle was produced in a 1.75l version with a 90 and 86 proof. This is one of the most sought after bottles. If you have three of them, the boxes join together to make a wonderful scene.
My bottle has lost a little bit the the angels. Evaporation does hit the older bottles that are not sealed. I am very happy to have this one. The box alone can go for $250-$300US.
